The Boys, Amazon Prime 2022

The Boys was a really fun project to work on, with a unique production pipeline. On a personal note, I had never animated so much blood before—or since—which definitely made it one of the more memorable projects I’ve been part of.

The animation began with traditional 2D rough animation, which was then imported into Toon Boom Harmony to be finalized. That way we could keep the energy and feel of the hand-drawn animation while still taking advantage of all the powerful tools the software offers.
